VPET International Conference 2020 in Hong Kong

Winterthur is a center of practice-oriented education. With this positioning, House of Winterthur took part in the "Zurich meets your City" format in Hong Kong (2017), San Francisco (2018) and Seoul (2019), thereby strengthening its international network. In 2014, 2016 and 2018, the International Vocational Training Congress also took place in Winterthur, which was organized by House of Winterthur in each case.

This commitment is now bearing fruit: House of Winterthur is a proud partner of the VPET International Conference 2020, which will take place online on May 15, 2020 under the title "Skilling for the Future". Prof. Dr. Philipp Gonon, Professor of Vocational Education and Training at the University of Zurich, Daniel Bührer, CEO of 3-Plan Haustechnik AG and Cedric Rieder, apprentice at 3-Plan Haustechnik AG, will take part in the conference as speakers from the House of Winterthur network and talk about the importance of vocational training. The congress offers a platform for open dialog and exchange between decision-makers and experts from politics, education and business and is a further opportunity to present Winterthur internationally as a top location for education.
