The House of Winterthur company survey provides annual information on the state of the Winterthur economic region. It is based on an annual survey of companies from various sectors in the city and region of Winterthur.

The House of Winterthur company survey from August 2022 shows that Almost 90 percent of the companies surveyed are satisfied with Winterthur as a beach location. For the first time in two years, the shortage of skilled workers has replaced the pandemic situation as the biggest challenge in the Winterthur Economic region . Despite the pandemic, Winterthur companies are positive about the coming year.

Company survey 2020
Economic forecast: companies are feeling the effects of the pandemic, but have the impact largely under control
2020 is characterized by new challenges due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Fortunately, more than half of the companies still see their business performance as positive to positive. The biggest challenges are seen as the order situation (55.4%) and price pressure (44.6%). No change is expected in the number of employees by 60 % of respondents.

Economic forecast: companies in the region are still satisfied
Over 90 percent of companies are satisfied or very satisfied with Winterthur as a business location. The forecast for the coming course of business is positive.
