Open-air cinema Niche

A cool bar, a good movie and a magnificent view - that's all you need! The open-air cinema on the Bäumli terrace on Goldenberg takes place every year on two days in July. This unique open-air cinema experience is organized by Kino Nische, which is originally located in the Gaswerk cultural center. Now all that remains is for the weather to cooperate. We're keeping our fingers crossed!

SILO Rooftop Open-Air Cinéma by Lerchpartner.ch

Where Maggi once smelled, cinema magic now flickers over the rooftops of VALLEY: a unique boutique rooftop open-air experience under the stars. Make yourself comfortable - in cozy Couple Lounges, at stylish 4-seater high tables with a view or in a classic outdoor cinema chair. Great stories come to life on the 7 x 5 meter screen. Beforehand, there are delicious burgers, cool drinks - and popcorn à discrétion. Generous tulip umbrellas and elegant pergola sails ensure that even a mild summer rain won't dampen the mood.

 

Balti Openair Cinema

Enjoy a cold beer, grilled sausages or popcorn and marvel at the beautiful sunset with a view of the Alpine panorama in addition to a great movie. The small open-air cinema above the rooftops of Baltenswil is a real insider tip. The cinema program includes excellent blockbusters that provide perfect entertainment. Nice to know: make sure you have enough cash with you!


Openair new KINO

At the beautiful open-air cinema in Freienstein, you can enjoy movies under the stars every Thursday, Friday and Saturday until the end of August. Beforehand, there is a large selection of delicious and regional food in the summer pub. The selection of films ranges from big Hollywood flicks to regional productions followed by panel discussions.


Cinéma Solaire

In August, the Lagerplatz in Winterthur will be home to a very special kind of cinema. The Cinéma Solaire arrives in bicycle trailers, the electricity here is generated entirely with solar energy from its own production and shows real movie gems away from the mainstream. All you need to bring is your own chair. The open-air cinema also sees itself as a cinema for everyone: everyone pays for what they can!


Summer Cinema Hettlingen

The open-air cinema in Hettlingen is located in the courtyard of the charming Café Fortuna. The café treats its guests to barbecues, a varied drinks menu, fresh popcorn and delicious waffles. The special thing about the open-air cinema: in March, viewers can submit film suggestions via the website and vote for the winning film. Children up to the age of 12 are admitted free of charge.


Openair Schöntalkino

Schöntalkino in Rikon has been showing great films in the open air in an idyllic atmosphere by the Töss river since 2004. Between the circus wagons of the Circolino Pipistrello, you can experience stories big and small on the big screen. Incidentally, since 2010 there has also been the infamous winter open-air cinema, where you can snuggle up in heated bathtubs or with hot water bottles under a woollen blanket and enjoy Swiss film classics.


Openair cinema Seuzach

Once again this year, the Weiher swimming pool will be transformed into an extraordinary open-air cinema, offering a unique movie experience in a special setting. You can choose your own seat here, but you should bring your own seating. The audience can decide for themselves which movie is shown and vote for it using a link.
