"The Valley has incredible character"
The next House of Winterthur House Talks will take place at the beginning of June. Visitors will be guests at The Valley in Kemptthal as part of the event. One of the speakers will be The Valley site manager Mikula Gehrig from the development office Mettler Entwickler. In a brief interview, he reveals what makes The Valley such an exceptional location.

Mr. Gehrig, what makes The Valley one of the most exciting locations in Switzerland?
Mikula Gehrig: Firstly, it is extremely exciting to see how the location is changing and developing a life of its own through our transformation. The area is alive, dynamic and now offers a home to a wide variety of companies. Whether gastronomy, production, offices or research, they have all found their place in The Valley. In addition, a wide variety of events bring life to the area. Things are happening in The Valley!
Why has the transformation of the site in Kemptthal worked so well?
The site is of course ideally located, has its own train station and two highway connections. In addition, the site naturally has historical value and the old buildings have an incredible character that attracts people. Thanks to the modern infrastructure, there is a special mix of old and modern elements that is particularly well received. You notice when you visit: The Valley has a soul.
What can visitors expect at the House Talk on June 4?
You will gain an insight into the historic site, which was a kind of "forbidden city" for a long time. In the past, people were not allowed to enter the site, but things are different today. Of course, we will also provide an insight into the development process that has already taken place and will continue to take place. I will of course be delighted if visitors return to the Valley on other missions after the House talk.
