"The combination of sport and business creates a unique atmosphere "
Although it is one of the sportiest event locations in the whole of Winterthur, the WIN4 sports business park with the AXA ARENA is not only suitable for sporting events. In a brief interview, Managing Director Robert Risse explains how versatile WIN4 is as an event location and what makes it so special.
You are primarily known for sporting events - can you also host business events?
Yes, that is also possible. In fact, our name "WIN4" already indicates what is possible with us. The name has two important components. "WIN" stands for victories in sport and for Winterthur. The number four symbolizes the four core areas of sport, health, education and events that are represented in our building. Thanks to the numerous rooms and, above all, the adaptability of the AXA Lounge, we are also able to cater for business events with twelve to 300 people. The range is correspondingly wide and extends from a simple presentation or meeting to full-day seminars and workshops. Catering can also be booked directly on request.

What makes the location special?
The combination of sport and business creates a unique atmosphere and who doesn't want to see something other than a hotel or a normal congress center. From the AXA Lounge with a view of the pitch, you can follow the action in the arena during or after the event - so you can "smell" the sports air and be inspired.

What kind of multifunctional event infrastructure do you offer?
In addition to our AXA ARENA, the jewel with the huge LED large screens and the individually programmable LED bands, we are very proud of our AXA Lounge. From a cozy aperitif to a general meeting or Christmas dinner to TV productions, anything is possible because the infrastructure is designed and prepared for it. But the other rooms also have the necessary media technology and mobile screens enable other activities to be held anywhere in the building. From next summer 2023, a roof terrace will be added, offering a magnificent view over the Deutweg.
