Hirschen Stammheim
A place of hospitality, a listed building and a starting point for experiencing an unspoilt landscape
Barbara Schürch and her team cultivate regional and seasonal cuisine. Highlights in spring are the famous Stammer green asparagus, which are on the menu in many different variations, and in fall wild boar and venison from local hunts. The wine list includes numerous wines from the surrounding area. Together with its five historic outbuildings, the Hirschen forms an ensemble that is considered a cultural asset of national importance. You can stay overnight in the Hirschen in three different houses: The main house, built in 1684, offers historically valuable rooms, the restored and extended farmhouse "Wyttenbach" offers modern rooms and the Graf house offers simple rooms. Horses are also welcome in the new stables with spacious boxes.
Outdoor seating and dining rooms
The Hirschen is a wonderful place to celebrate: the ensemble offers a variety of rooms with space for up to 60 people, both indoors and outdoors.
Hirschen stage
The former hayloft has been converted into a theater and banquet hall and equipped with modern technology. Together with the stable and the open barn with a large gate to the courtyard, this has created an interesting and versatile space.
All our rooms can also be rented, individually or in combination, according to your needs.
