The Coin Cabinet and Collection of Classical Antiquities is owned by the city of Winterthur and is housed in Villa Bühler. The numismatic collection comprises around 63,000 pieces.

The coin collection has a history of over 350 years and dates back to the beginnings of the city library in 1660. Today it is an independent museum of the city of Winterthur, dedicated to the cultural history of money and archaeology.
