Municipality of Seuzach

The municipality of Seuzach, consisting of the three villages of Seuzach, Oberohringen and Unterohringen, is the largest suburban municipality in Winterthur. The central location, good connections to public transport and the highway, various shopping facilities and lively club life are highly valued in the municipality. Oberohringen has its own industrial estate with several hundred jobs. Catering is provided by various restaurants, shopping facilities and a Migros teo, which is located right next to the Oberohringen industrial estate and is open 24 hours a day.

Various events take place throughout the year: from concerts and theater to open-air cinema evenings or the Advent event in Rösslipark.

Seuzach's village newspaper, the Seuzi Zytig, is published 10 times a year and is widely read. Thanks to the many reports and photos from the clubs, businesses and the town hall, the Seuzi Zytig is very varied.

Seuzach is surrounded by forests, which invite you to take a leisurely stroll, do an extensive workout on the fitness trail or have a barbecue in the forest. In the center of Seuzach is the Rösslipark, which is used for events, among other things. There is also a SportBox in the Rösslipark, where sports equipment can be borrowed and used.

On the outskirts of Seuzach is the Entenweiher, a local recreation area between trees and ponds and home to various animal species.

The Badi Seuzach is known far and wide around Winterthur for its long and fast slide ride, the various diving platforms, the bubble loungers, the beach volleyball court, the pirate ship children's paddling pool and the great children's playground next to it.

A visit to Seuzach is worthwhile for young and old or big and small.
