Municipality of Lindau
The municipality of Lindau has developed slowly but steadily in recent years and now has around 5500 inhabitants. Despite this growth, Lindau has managed to retain its rural charm and character. For a long time, Maggi AG was the largest employer in Lindau, which had a lasting impact on the development of the municipality. However, Maggi AG was later absorbed by Nestlé. The factory site has now recently been taken over by Givaudan.
