Elsau consists of seven lively villages and hamlets and has a population of around 3700. The municipality is located both in the countryside and in the immediate vicinity of Winterthur. But it's not just nearby Winterthur, Elsau itself also has a lot to offer: For example, a well-developed sports and leisure infrastructure with a swimming pool and sauna, sports field and sports hall, which are actively used by around 35 clubs, and a range of rich cultural events.
