The twinkling stars of the traditional Christmas lights are among the most popular photo subjects during the Advent season. This atmospheric walking tour takes you through the picturesque Old Town and lets you experience the pre-Christmas atmosphere in a special way. As you stroll through quiet alleys, you’ll discover interesting facts about the city.
Amid the scent of mulled wine, we raise a toast together at the Christmas market to the upcoming holidays.

Book a private city tour
You can book all city tours privately as a company, club, school or family - on your desired date and, depending on the offer, with a flexible meeting and end point.
You can register at any time using the online form below. Frequently asked questions with answers can be found here. We will also be happy to advise you personally on your selection and booking during office hours.
Booking procedure

As soon as the form has been completed and sent, you will receive an e-mail.
2. processing
The availability of the various services is checked. This process may take a few working days. You will then receive a corresponding response.
3. confirmation
After receiving your confirmation, a House of Winterthur tour guide will contact you to discuss the details of the tour.
4. Menu Selection for the Restaurant
. The selection must be submitted no later than two weeks before the event. For the main course, different dishes may be selected for each course (e.g., five people choose Option 1 and eight people choose Option 2).
5. definitive number of participants
The number of people in the group is required at least 4 days before the event.
Payment:
Invoicing takes place in the month following the tour. You will receive a total invoice for all services.
Small print
Multiple Groups
A maximum of two groups of 20 people each may be present at the same time. The Apéro Riche Restaurant may vary depending on whether two groups are present simultaneously.
Cancellations
Individual cancellations regarding the number of participants (max. 5 persons) can be considered free of charge up to 4 days before the event. Cancellations at shorter notice may incur cancellation fees depending on the restaurant and the secret passage 188.
