Kopfbau – Event location by Swiss Casinos
In the heart of Winterthur, the “Lokstadt” (Locomotive City)—where steam locomotives were once built for the whole world—stands the Kopfbau: a new venue for spectacular events in the vicinity of the Swiss Casino Winterthur. Starting in mid-December 2025, this high-end event venue will offer an industrial aesthetic, state-of-the-art technology, and direct access to the new Swiss Casino Winterthur. The Kopfbau is ideal for corporate events, concerts, cultural events, trade shows, general meetings, presentations, product launches, galas, banquets, award nights, and catering events. Its proximity to the Swiss Casino Winterthur and the Lok Bar & Lounge—with its spectacular chandelier—opens up additional possibilities: · Cocktail receptions before or after the event · VIP areas in the public bar · Exclusive rooftop bar at the casino · Combined “Event + Casino Experience” packages This transforms an event into a comprehensive experience that guests will remember—in line with modern MICE concepts where experience and content go hand in hand.
