Teuchelweiher multi-purpose facility

The Teuchelweiher multi-purpose facility is suitable for a wide variety of events. Two spacious halls and numerous seminar and office rooms with modern infrastructure are available.

The listed half-timbered building is a former barracks with two riding halls. It was built by the renowned architect and Winterthur master builder Wilhelm Bareiss in 1860.

The former cavalry barracks were extensively renovated in 1986 and converted into a conference, seminar and event center with spacious seminar rooms, theory rooms, meeting rooms and offices. Over the past few years, these have been continuously adapted to the needs of a modern, multifunctional event and meeting center.

The multi-purpose facility is located in the immediate vicinity of Winterthur city center and can be easily reached on foot or by bus from the train station. There are also paid parking spaces available.

The large riding hall can accommodate up to 600 people. The Teuchelweiher also has a dormitory and various smaller rooms with a total of 304 beds.
