Lunch Concert
After conducting a lunchtime concert last season as concertmaster with Georg Muffat’s “Delirium Amoris,” he will take on a dual role this time: Concertmaster Bogdan Božović will both perform and conduct Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s final violin concerto.
As concertmaster, Bogdan consistently demonstrates his ability to bring the orchestra together, and his enthusiasm for playing is clearly evident. Now he will showcase this enthusiasm as a soloist. As is customary at the Musikkollegium lunch concerts, he will also guide the audience through the concert with a brief introduction.
With its typical concert structure of fast–slow–fast, Mozart’s Fifth Violin Concerto will brighten up Monday afternoon with its uplifting spirit, and the “Turkish music” in the rondo is sure to put everyone in a good mood once again.
