On the initiative of the Office for Urban Development, the Kehrseite Winterthur 2022 association launched the "Action Days forr Respect and Diversity", the association launched a special guided tour entitled "Racism in Winterthur - past and present". This is now offered regularly as a public or private tour. At four stations, we shed light on various forms of racism based on historical phenomena in our city. With the involvement of external specialists and people affected by racism, we will build a bridge to the present. The aim is to show how racism continues to exist today, what this means for those affected and what forms of engagement are practiced. With this newly developed city tour the association to raise public awareness of the issue and contribute to raising awareness and combating racism.

Please note:Kehrseite Winterthur is an independent association of historians. By coordinating the tour with external experts, the tour can be booked at least 3 weeks before the tour date and the same experts are not always present at the tour.
