Winterthur and the colonial trade
Winterthur as a colonial power? Hardly. But the Eulach city's involvement in the global slave and colonial trade is manifold:
Merchants traded in cotton and textiles. Later, they used their capital to lay the foundations for industry, museums and banks. The people of Winterthur enjoyed colonial goods and visited folk shows. The tour takes you to the sites and remains of a forgotten chapter in our history.
Please note: Kehrseite Winterthur is an independent association of historians. Due to high capacity utilization, not all requests can always be met. Binding tour dates are arranged at least three months in advance.

Per group with a maximum of 20 people:
- Up to 1.5 hours CHF 260
- CHF 40 for each additional half hour
Bei Spezialführungen mit Kulinarik fallen zusätzliche Kosten an. Bei kurzfristigen Buchungen (<48 Std.) wird ein Expresszuschlag von CHF 50 verrechnet.
