THE VALLEY - House of Winterthur launches new management in Kemptthal
The smell of bouillon has long since disappeared from Kemptthal, but the pioneering spirit of Julius Maggi lives on in today's THE VALLEY. To pay tribute to this historic place, House of Winterthur is launching a new guided tour of THE VALLEY this March. It will be open to the public for the first time on March 18. The offer can also be be booked as a private group tour.
Julius Maggi began building his bouillon factory 150 years ago in the small town of Kemptthal near Winterthur. Where bouillon cubes and the world-famous Maggi seasoning sauce used to be produced, both established and young companies are now working on food innovations. In addition to planted and Givaudan, well over 100 companies have set up shop in THE VALLEY in recent years. Whether motorsport, food, health, events or art, THE VALLEY has become one of the most exciting locations in Switzerland. The new guided tour will explore and pay tribute to this transformation from a former factory site to a pioneering location for research, development and production.
