Street art 2025: Wonky's "Walk of Fame" now adorns the wall on Bahnmeisterweg

Winterthur artist Balthasar Bosshard, known as "Wonky", is this year's winner of the House of Winterthur street art competition. His work "Walk of Fame" interprets typical Winterthur locations - from the Rose Garden to the Goldenberg and the Totentäli - in an illustrative and playful way.

The 11x2 meter long wall on Bahnmeisterweg between the train station and the Sulzerareal has also been given a new coat of paint this year. Taina's cheerful "Stadtbüsis" make way for a new work from the "Wonky Studio" studio: Winterthur artist Balthasar Bosshard's design proposal won out over almost 20 competitors. "Countless people walk past this wall every day, which inspired the name," explains Bossard. His work "Walk of Fame" takes viewers on a walk through the city of Winterthur. They discover motifs such as Vögelipark, Bäumli and Delphinplatz. The mural is complemented by symbolic elements that reflect the green, wooded and natural city.
