New campaign to attract guests to Winterthur in January

Together with ten Winterthur hoteliers, House of Winterthur is launching the "Give away time in Winterthur" campaign. As part of the January special, the hoteliers are inviting guests to spend time in Winterthur and discover the city at a special price.

"On the last two weekends in January, the hoteliers in Winterthur have only been able to welcome a few guests in recent years," says Markus Gilgen, Vice Director and Head of Tourism at House of Winterthur. Not only one or two overnight stays with breakfast are included in the package: Those interested also receive a culture and enjoyment voucher worth 20 francs, a public transport card in ZVV zone 120 and can take part in one of three possible city tours.

Campaign to be expanded in the following year

Together, they can counteract the January slump and even more importantly: "We want to show people that Winterthur is also lively in winter and has a lot to offer." If the campaign is successful, the aim is to expand it next year and work with even more hotels.
