Hike and enjoy again: 2nd Winterthur Genuss-Wanderung takes place in the fall

After the successful premiere in 2019 and the cancellation due to COVID-19 in 2020, you can now hike and enjoy yourself again: The 2nd Genuss-Wanderung will now take place on Friday and Saturday - on September 17 and 18, 2021. Ticket sales for the idyllic circular hike from Wülflingen with an enjoyable five-course menu and matching wine accompaniment at five regionally selected restaurant stops will officially start on Friday, July 23, 2021.

The 13.5-kilometre circular hike leads from Wülflingen over the Beerenberg to Pfungen, along the Töss to Dättlikon and then over the vineyards past Wart Castle. The return journey is by bus - on Saturday even in a nostalgic double-decker city bus from 1971 - through Neftenbach to Hard and finally a short stretch along the water towards the finish. Along the way, participants will be treated to culinary delights at five selected locations. Hiking enthusiasts start every 15 minutes - all in all, the 2nd Genuss-Wanderung takes around 7.5 hours, including eating and hiking.
