Hirschen Stammheim

A place of hospitality, architectural monument, and starting point for experiencing unspoiled countryside

Barbara Schürch and her team serve regional and seasonal cuisine. Highlights include the famous Stammer green asparagus in spring, which appears in a wide variety of dishes on the menu, and wild boar and venison from local hunts in autumn. The wine list features numerous wines from the surrounding area. Together with its five historic outbuildings, the Hirschen forms an ensemble that is considered a cultural asset of national importance. Guests can stay at the Hirschen in three different buildings: the main building, constructed in 1684, offers rooms of historical value; the restored and extended "Wyttenbach" farmhouse offers modern rooms; and the Graf building offers simple rooms. Horses are also welcome and can be accommodated in the new stable with spacious stalls.

Outdoor seating and dining rooms
The Hirschen is a wonderful place to celebrate: the ensemble offers a variety of rooms with space for up to 60 guests, both indoors and outdoors.

Hirschenbühne
The former hayloft has been converted into a theater and banquet hall and equipped with modern technology. Together with the stable and the open barn with its large gate to the courtyard, this has created an interesting and versatile spatial situation.

All our rooms can also be rented, individually or in combination, according to your needs.
