Mozart over lunch
The lunch concerts are entering their second season!
The Lunch Concerts are entering their second season! The series will once again be opened by the chief conductor Roberto González-Monjas, who has already provided astonishing insights into the pieces in his previous lunchtime concert presentations.
You'd think you knew Mozart's overture to the "Magic Flute" inside out: Mozart specialist González-Monjas will also reveal his background knowledge in this concert and know how to surprise, both with the "Magic Flute" and with the inter-act music of the heroic drama "Thamos, King of Egypt".
Program:
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - Overture to the opera "The Magic Flute" in E flat major, KV 620
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - Three interlude music from "Thamos, King of Egypt", KV 345
Francis Poulenc - Sinfonietta
Our tip: After the concert, treat yourself to culinary delights in the bloom restaurant. You can choose between individual dishes from the lunch menu and the Musikkollegium package, which includes a 3-course lunch menu including mineral water, 1 coffee and 1 glass of wine for CHF 55 per person. Table reservations are recommended: www.bloom.ch / +41 52 265 03 65.
