Cyrano is a fighter and swordsman whose skills are unrivaled. But he is also a poet, inventor, philosopher, quite simply one of the most brilliant minds in Paris. He is only weak in one respect: his oversized nose robs him of the confidence to confess his love to Roxane, whom he adores.
Roxane loves the handsome but naïve Christian and asks Cyrano, of all people, to protect the young man. The two men make a pact to win the unapproachable beauty. Edmond Rostand's romantic comedy is still the most performed play in France today.
