Glorios - the path to the city of art Guided tour for hotel guests only

Description
How Winterthur was transformed into a vibrant art metropolis
In the 1910s - the "glorious decade" - Winterthur developed into an art city of international renown. Important collectors and patrons such as Hedy and Arthur Hahnloser and Georg and Oskar Reinhart heralded a new understanding of art.
This was also influenced by the great Swiss-French artist Félix Vallotton during his numerous visits to Winterthur. Based on the "2025 I Année Vallotton" and the accompanying exhibition "Félix Vallotton. Illusions perdues" at the Kunst Museum Winterthur, this tour also sheds light on Félix Vallotton as a person, his art and his relationship with Winterthur - especially with the Hahnloser family, with whom he was a very welcome guest at the Villa Flora. Immerse yourself in the key moments in the development of art during this decade.
